Congratulations on your invitation to the 2026 HHOF Future Legends tournament!

***Please note that only players directly invited by Play Hockey / HHOF evaluation staff are eligible to play in this event. Any other registrations will be canceled and your despoit will be forfeited.***

2026 marks the 8th annual Future Legends event.  This unique experience is a one-of-a-kind showcase in partnership between the Hockey Hall of Fame and Play Hockey. It is an individual-entry, invite-only event featuring the top 2015-born Boys worldwide.  

The event commences with a live "draft" (Thursday) where participants are selected onto rosters. Our staff makes every effort to ensure parity and geographic diversity on each roster, yielding incredible tournament competition.  Players attending will play on teams with their peers from all over North America and Europe (instead of only playing with kids from a specific region).

Event Package Includes: 

• Invite-only event for approximately 192 (12 teams) of the top players worldwide (2015 Birth year, no underagers allowed)
• LIVE Draft Ceremony to be held on Thursday, April 23 at approximately 12:00 PM
• Each roster is made up of a diverse group of players from all different parts of North America
• Private "Future Legends" Night at the Hockey Hall of Fame
• Off-ice Combine Testing
• On-ice Combine Testing
• 5 Game guarantee (3X15 minute periods)
• 2 Non-parent coaches for each team
• Jersey & socks included
• Game-MVP awards given out every game
• Rosters include 9 F, 6 D and 2 G per team

Travel Notes:

The event commences with a draft ceremony on April 23 at approximately 12:00 PM.   Please plan your travel accordingly.

The 2015 Boys final is scheduled to finish by 3:30 PM on Sunday, April 26.  

Hotels

All PLAY Hockey events have a Stay to Play Requirement if you are outside of 96 km/60miles from the event.

Please note that all travelling players are required to book their accommodations through our designated partner hotels on Event Connect to ensure a smooth event experience. This is a Stay to Play event, and player or parent who does not comply will incur a penalty. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in supporting our events logistics. You will receive an email from Event Connect with your hotel booking link shortly after your registration.
