Introducing the Ontario Prospects Cup, an exclusive, high-performance girls hockey showcase designed to bring together exceptional young female athletes from across North America.

Created for ambitious players with aspirations of competing at the U22 Elite, U SPORTS, or NCAA level, this event offers more than just competitive hockey. It's an opportunity to showcase your abilities, learn from experienced coaches, gain valuable exposure, and better understand what it takes to succeed at the next level.

Unlike traditional tournaments, the Ontario Prospects Cup is built around individual athlete development, competitive evaluation, and meaningful connections to the next stages of the female hockey pathway.

Every athlete is individually selected, ensuring a highly competitive environment where talented players can challenge themselves alongside and against other top prospects.

The Prospects Experience

Elite Player Selection & Team Placement

Athletes are selected through an invitation-only process and assigned to teams by our scouting and evaluation staff. Teams are carefully constructed to create a competitive, balanced environment that challenges every participant.

Coaching & Mentorship from the Next Level

Each team will be supported by experienced U22 Elite coaches and staff who will serve as mentor coaches throughout the event. Athletes will benefit from valuable feedback, guidance, and insight into the expectations of elite-level hockey.

High-Level Competition & Guaranteed Ice Time

Every athlete will receive:

• One organized team practice

• A minimum of three competitive showcase games

• Opportunities to demonstrate their individual skills, hockey IQ, and compete against other high-calibre athletes

Beyond the Ice: Education & Player Pathways

Our educational seminars will provide athletes and families with valuable insight into the opportunities and expectations associated with advancing in female hockey.

Guest speakers representing U22 Elite, U SPORTS, and NCAA programs will share their knowledge on player development, recruitment, preparation, and navigating the next stages of a competitive hockey career.

The Complete Prospects Experience

Every participant will receive an official Ontario Prospects Cup uniform, event T-shirt, and shorts.

The weekend will also feature championship and finalist recognition, along with individual tournament MVP awards celebrating outstanding performances.

More Than a Tournament. A Step Toward Your Future.

The Ontario Prospects Cup is designed for athletes who are serious about their development and motivated to pursue opportunities beyond minor hockey.

Whether your goal is U22 Elite, Canadian university hockey, or an NCAA program, this event provides an environment to compete, learn, build confidence, and gain a clearer understanding of what it takes to reach the next level.

Compete with the best. Learn from the next level. Build your future.

Participation does not guarantee recruitment, scholarship opportunities, or advancement to a particular program.
